Cars in Germany's Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Officers mentioned they were notified by a man who noticed a automobile in Hanau marked with red-colored fluid

Approximately 50 vehicles have been smeared with what appears to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Officers state they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a resident discovered that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored substance.

The substance had been placed in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then discovered multiple other marked automobiles and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws banning the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Police state preliminary tests show the liquid was most likely blood from a person.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; officials are presently not cognizant of any harm in relation with the event," they added.

Municipal representatives announced they were working "to resolve the case" and have asked to the residents for information.

A senior representative stated the attack rendered him without words and had to be solved rapidly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and reopens the wounds of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on a platform, referring to the killing of nine victims by a gunman targeting individuals of migrant background in 2020.
